I acknowledge that I am residing, and that my spiritual practices are occurring on the traditional lands of the Kaurna and Peramangk peoples, South Australia, through which their spiritual traditions and songlines are inherently present and imbedded.

Jonathan Carrefour is an Adelaide-based esoteric practitioner of some 20 years standing, with a background in herbal medicine, energy work, and Western Mystery Tradition -including custodianship of a ceremonial qabalistic tradition rooted in Australia from the 1920’s.

He is an initiated Sancista in the tradition of Sanse, a Puerto Rican spiritual tradition that combines Espiritismo, Dominican ‘21 Divisions’ & Haitian Vodou. His initiation has been through Gade Nou Leve, a traditional Vodoun house based in the United States - allowing him to bring to Australia, possibly for the first time, this particularly unique spiritual tradition. The practices are such that it can interface and positively work with many spiritual frameworks from a range of communities and cultural heritages.

Everyone has spirits.

Everyone can benefit from having both themselves and their spirits, elevated.

Individuals and spirits seeking elevation make a conscious and positive spiritual evolutionary step. However - some spirits, and the individuals they associate with, may avoid further evolution and elevation - seeking rather to cling to the perceived benefits and sensations of physicality and materialism only. Individuals trapped in these co-dependant relationships may continue to undergo trials, and be seemingly dragged through life with little self-determination. These are known in Sanse as ‘Causes’ and are a spiritual root issue to what may hold us back in life.

These are not dealt with in the first instance by ‘banishments’, ‘exorcisms’, ‘forced removals’ or other such notions. Rather Sanse seeks to enlist the aid of more evolved and powerful spiritual forces, such as the Saints & Misterios (Lwa) of Vodoun traditions to bring the spiritual light of Divinity to individuals and any less evolved spirits or entities that walk with them.

This may be achieved through simple workings resembling ’spells’ or more complicated workings such as a ‘Misa’ (Spiritual Mass) where the Saints/Misterios may come into possession to conduct affairs and interact with particular individuals.

Please read our ‘Services’ page to learn more about how Jonathan Carrefour may be able to assist you.
